Toby Keith and the Dixie Chicks Not Ready To Make Nice
Filed under : Al Sharpton, Dixie Chicks, George Bush, Nancy Pelosi, Newt Gingrich, Pat Robertson, Toby Keith

Almost President and Nashville resident AL GORE and his Global Warming Alliance got a little too excited when they were able to unite fuck ‘tard Rev. AL SHARPTON with conservative and sometimes nutty Rev. PAT ROBERTSON for a TV commercial. They also boasted of uniting House Speaker NANCY PELOSI with former House Speaker NEWT GINGRICH for a global warming TV commercial.
However, based on TOBY KEITH’s Q&A with San Jose, California’s The Mercury News, it will be a cold day in hell before the DIXIE CHICKS and he will be doing a similar TV commercial.
The best part of the Q&A was when TOBY was asked about who he would vote for in the upcoming presidential election. He responded by saying “…people need to go educate themselves and not listen to moron celebrities.”
His good music, common sense, down to earth appeal is probably why he was recently named Forbres Magazine’s #1 Top Earning Country Music artist. Except for an occasional Bush-bashing rant, we haven’t heard from the DIXIE CHICKS since they won some Grammy Awards for “Not Ready To Make Nice”.
TOBY, enjoy that $48 million. DIXIE CHICKS, I guess y’all still Not Ready To Make Nice.

MTV is the lamest thing I have seen in a while.
Once again, Toby runs off his mouth and people make him out to be a hero for it. Martie Maguire couldn’t do the commercial b/c she was, you know, having a baby. They chose not to comment, while he runs and whines to the media. Toby Keith: Pathetic as Ever.

I think it is time to get over all that crap. Martie Mcguire did or said nothing that any other american wouldn’t have said if they thought it. What about freedom of speech…many americans fought and died for. The Dixie Chicks are one of the best groups that ever hit Nashville. I wonder what would have been said if Martie were a man and made those comments…hmmm. As for Toby Keith…he was out getting stoned with Willy when it was time to accept an award from Nashville…(one that many work their whole lives to get). I guess it is ok if he disrespects country music and everyone who made him and gave him what he has today. Maybe if he were a woman the sh.. would have hit the fan …. the rules should apply to all. Maybe Toby needs to watch last years Country Music awards…he couldn’t even muster up a smile or eye contact for his fan while he sang. We don’t need him in Nashville….give me the Chicks anyday.
I love Toby and his music & personally, i think he should be able to say whatever the hell he wants to without people dissing him… just sayin’…
I would pay $1000 a seat to see the Dixie Chicks in concert again. They were the best for years. Now the Jane Fonda of Country Music. CM should be ashamed of letting them be pushed aside for espousing their own feelings, which for many have been proven correct!! They were anti-war when it could have made a difference! ten years later look where we are.
