Our spies have found more free country music again tonight in Nashville! Everyone likes FREE especially in this economy. Tonight, Wednesday, MARCH 4th, we hear that Pat Green will be playing at The Stage at 10PM, Lost Trailers w/ Jason Michael Carroll at Second Fiddle at Midnight, Katie Armiger at Tootsie’s at 9:30PM. Our spies tell us Jamey Johnson was in A+ form this morning for his free street concert. He had a huge stage set up right in the middle of Commerce Street in downtown Nashville. The streets were packed! The Mayor played some of his popular songs but debuted “Nothing Is Better Than You”. Listen to the song. The song title is certainly a play on words… much in the vein of his song “Give It Away” made popular by George Strait. Also, he had the morning crowd going crazy when he sang country favorite “Dinosaur”.

Just in, our spies tell us The Mayor of Country Music will be performing a FREE surprise concert tomorrow morning in downtown Nashville (Wed., March 4th) at 11:30 AM (THAT’S RIGHT A.M.) on the corner of 5th Ave. and Commerce St. outside the offices of his suck ass label UMG Nashville. In this economy, we can all use something that is both good and free for a change!

Poor Mindy Arrested Again!

Our spies at the courthouse in Franklin, Tn (just south of Nashville) tell us MINDY was arrested AGAIN earlier this week for violating her probation… sounds like she was being lazy and trying to get into the “free club” by falsifying her court ordered community service records.

Thank God RAY SCOTT is back better than ever!

Earlier this month RAY released a brand new album Crazy Like Me on his on terms. It’s fan-fucking-tastic!!! You can download the album from I-Tunes and other places. Also Country Music Weekly is giving away a free download of “Poor Folks” for two weeks (6/16 – 6/30). Of course, we like the free club.

RAY got dropped from his major label. This is another perfect example of a dumb-ass move by Warner Bros. Nashville and especially it’s incompetent A&R guy SCOTT HENDRICKS. We particularly like that fact that RAY went and re-recorded this album to fuck Warner Bros. for fucking him. Score one for you RAY!!!

RAY is finally happy to be released from the Warner Bros. Nashville roster. Now go get ‘em RAY!!!
