I am thinking JUSTIN MOORE is making REAL country music. I am a little slow sometimes because I’m very cynical about all the wannabe artists that major labels force on us. I’ve had JUSTIN’s self-titled album for a few months now and at first listen, I definitely felt the vibe of the album and song [...]

1/18/10

I am thinking JUSTIN MOORE is making REAL country music. I am a little slow sometimes because I’m very cynical about all the wannabe artists that major labels force on us. I’ve had JUSTIN’s self-titled album for a few months now and at first listen, I definitely felt the vibe of the album and song “Small Town USA”. However, I mistakenly filed him away as a “perpetrator” or “poser” artist as they say in the rap music world.

Then I watched this nearly year-old YouTube clip. Now I am thinking… WOW, is it real? What do y’all think? I think this is yet another example of how the internet, technology, and YouTube are changing country music for the better. If this is where JUSTIN really lived when this clip was made, he just jumped into the category of REAL country music in by book. After listening to this album a few more times, I am thinking JUSTIN will be around a while. Is JUSTIN a REAL country music artist?
