Our spies where very pleased to happen upon two of the most traditional voices in country music on one stage. We caught up with JAMEY JOHNSON (”The Mayor of Country Music”) and true-country artist JOSH TURNER at a charity fund-raiser for Cystic Fibrosis! These two should show up on stage more often together!!!
Nashville’s power couple, NICOLE KIDMAN AND KEITH URBAN, dressed it up a notch for this years ACM Awards! Fashionable these two really never go wrong…but we’re not sure how the couple is posing. From the looks of it, NICOLE is showing off her bump while her husband KEITH appears to be trying to hide it. Maybe he’s already trying to protect BABY URBAN…NO PAPARAZZI!!!!

For being the lead singer of the band EMERSON DRIVE, BRAD sure doesn’t seem to be following the fashion trend set by the rest of the boys! His getup reminds me of the boys back home going to prom in their suit jackets with a tie and their Wrangler Jeans! It’s 2008 BRAD so let’s step it up a notch…you’re just lucky that you’re hot as hell so I’ll let this slide…but just once:)
She may not know her Last Name but CARRIE UNDERWOOD sure knows what it feels like to win! Our spies caught up with CARRIE backstage at the ACM Awards as she basked in the glory of her win. She went in to give her trophy a little kiss…thank goodness she refrained from using her tongue…that might just have gotten a little too AWKWARD even for us! CONGRATS CARRIE
GONE TO JAIL?? CHRIS CAGLE recently had an altercation with his girlfriend which sent both of them to jail!Allegedly there was a purse, an umbrella and smacking involved!I don’t know what’s gotten into MR. CAGLE but this isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble with the law….maybe he needs to take a vacation to Hawaii like BILLY CURRINGTON did to ease his anger issues.It seems CHRIS’ police record is hotter than current career!Remember CHRIS the purse is to carry stuff in not hit people with, well unless they are mugging you!
ERIC CHURCH made a surprise appearance at Fiddle in Steel in Nashville during this years CMA Fan Fair. Technically it wasn’t a surprise since two days before the show he sent out emails and posted bulletins on his MYSPACE with the time and place. BUT it looks like ERIC got a surprise of his own when a fan jumped on stage, put money down his shirt and gave him a quick kiss! It seemed as though ERIC was at a loss for words and even started cracking up while trying to sing. Kudos to ERIC for facing the surprise with a smile and I think he maybe liked the attention:) ERIC has come along way and you could tell during the show he was a bit overwhelmed when the crowd new all the words to all his songs…they almost out sang him!!
As reported earlier, after honky-tonking at The Wheel, JOHN RICH and a gal pal eased on over to the LEWIS COPELAND show at The Stage on Broadway. Our spies have spied JOHN there many times enjoying LEWIS’ show. Of course, it wasn’t long before JOHN took the stage to sing a few songs including “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)” and “Lost In This Moment.” JOHN told the crowd what we already knew… that LEWIS and his band were among the most “talented sons of bitches” in Nashville. After that LEWIS was compelled to play drums while JOHN did most of the singing. I guess they are now BFF.
As reported earlier, our spies where out in full force last night. At The Wheel, located on Lower Broadway, we ran into John Rich sitting in for the band doing what he does best… smoking, drinking, and singing. While there, KELLIE PICKLER showed up do get some dance moves on. It was just one of those nights. Prior to their arriving, the billionaire OLSEN Twins (MARY-KATE & ASHLEY) were there enjoying vodka, Red Bull, and shots of Patron. The Wheel was quite the little hopping joint last night.
