In an earlier post we claimed to have found JAMES OTTO’s long lost brother Shrek…but by the looks of this photo we were mistaken! It looks like his twin brother is right behind him playing fiddle! Keep it in the family LOL Nashville Spy has just recently gotten on the OTTO BANDWAGON…JAMES we just got starting lovin’ you!! Don’t let us down

During his Kansas City Shows GARTH BROOKS said that if we would wait he would be back…and he was right! GARTH attended the ACM Awards this year to receive the first ever Crystal Milestone Award. He brought down the house with a collaboration of several of his songs. Daddy GARTH was the highlight of the night for me and he sure did not let mama down!! He was joined on stage by his lovely wife TRISHA and made it quite obvious that they are madly in love. He even mistakenly called REBA McENTIRE by his wifes name…OOPS! Well at least he didn’t flub it too much and call either of them Sandy!! GARTH we are patiently waiting for you to get back on the road:)

Family man, RODNEY ATKINS brought his entourage to the ACM Awards. ATKINS was nominated for six ACM Awards and although he didn’t win an award he was not left empty handed. Our spies saw ATKINS toting around his little boy during the award show taking him to the bathroom, backstage and to their seats. It’s good to see an artist who takes pride in his family and even shows them off a bit!

What is not to love about JENNIFER NETTLES? She is beautiful, charming, funny and represents the girl next door! Our spies caught JENNIFER working her magic down on Fremont Street in Las Vegas during the week of the ACM Awards. Her powerful voice and unstoppable charm make her the key component to the duo SUGARLAND. She moved many to tears while performing her hit song “Stay“…they are on top of the world and we want to help keep them there!!

This talented songwriter, SARAH BUXTON, turned her brunette locks to blonde and hit the orange carpet at this years ACM Awards. Too bad her dress didn’t look as beautiful as her hair…this tie-dyed garbage bag look does nothing for MS. BUXTON gorgeous figure! She may have written KEITH URBAN’S hit song “Stupid Boy” but I’m thinking maybe we need to change it to “STUPID GIRL!!” Better luck next year!

Our spies found the McNugget and Orange Drink man, RODNEY ATKINS, raising some major funds for the Cystic Fibrosis charity at a fundraiser with other country music artist at The Stage on Broadway. Congrats to him and his colleagues for the the big $$$ they raised!

JAY DEMARCUS says…WAIT hold that shot we got to get a good angle of GARY! Well ok maybe he didn’t say that but the boys of RASCAL FLATTS sure do look excited about their ACM Top Vocal Group and Humanitarian Award win! I personally love this group but wish that somehow they could stumble onto a new look. GARY has been sporting the oversized, printed, never tucked in shirt for way too long…and JAY never leaves home with his suit jacket…then there’s JOE DON sporting that chain with dress pants and lets just say I’ve seen enough VEST to make me puke! I haven’t even touched their hair…come on boys CALL ME- I’ll hook ya’ll up!!

Our spies are always happy to run into DARRYL… one the the nicest and most talented guys in country music! In addition to being very nice and hospitability to everyone around, he managed to belt out a few of his great songs and raise several thousands of dollars for the Cystic Fibrosis charity he champinions. DARRYL… what the hell is up with that orange shirt? You been killin’ time in Hawaii? Keep the good music coming!

Our spies found JOSH TURNER kickin’ back, having fun, and enjoying raising a some money for the Cystic Fibrosis charity in Nashville last week. He, among other country artists, were at The Stage on Broadway to hustle some money for the charity. As always he looked and sounded like a million bucks.

We tried to get RANDY OWEN from the super group ALABAMA to get off stage and braid our hair while we were in Las Vegas but he never took us up on our offer. It’s a shame to see RANDY out of retirement especially without the rest of the boys…I thought that when you did a SOLO CAREER that meant you did your own thing?? I guess RANDY is the exception because when he performed on Fremont Street in Las Vegas our spies didn’t hear him perform one original song, not even the braid my hair song! One thing is for sure the crowd sure did love hearing those old ALABAMA tunes but it’s just not the same without those vocal harmonies and the rest of the boys! Maybe this fall we’ll have the FAREWELL RANDY TOUR!!
